We recorded at multiple train stations and railway environments across Germany to capture the authentic sonic atmosphere of the rail system.

This library includes exterior train pass-bys, arrivals, departures, braking and acceleration, engines idling, platform movement, distant rumbles, and natural station ambience. It also features interior recordings from inside train cars, capturing the subtle vibrations, air pressure shifts, carriage resonance, and passenger movement.

Surrounded by Trains has a runtime of 1 hour and 14 minutes of long-form ambisonic recordings.

These soundscapes have been carefully curated and edited to provide a ready-to-use, royalty-free collection that delivers depth, realism, and spatial movement.
